Our program was developed to address alcohol-related harm and associated medical and psychiatric conditions.
We aim to increase awareness of the issue and support primary care providers who are working with people experiencing harm from alcohol use.
Usando el modelo ECHO, our multidisciplinary team with expertise in psychology, addiction medicine, internal medicine and psychiatry will support participants through didactics and case-based presentations.
Our session topics include screening and treatment of harmful alcohol use, treatment of co-occurring medical and psychiatric problem, motivational interviewing and more.
The Alcohol Use and Mental Health ECHO meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month, from noon to 1 p.m. Mountain Time.
